PHOTO RESTORATION

Somewhere in your house is a photo frame with a treasured photo that has been taken for granted for many, many, years, or maybe you have a photo that is tucked away in a shoe box that is curling up at the corners and is awaiting a family gathering to see the light of day to be passed around. It could be the photo of a very special loved one, a family member or simply a photo of a special time in your life... a wedding, a christening, a graduation, a farewell or the first time that you ever held hands. These magical moments can never be replaced.

On the left is a photo of my own mother taken the day after she got engaged to my father in St Andrew's, Scotland, in 1958, a very special time indeed but the photographic record of this momentous, and tremendously personal occasion, is faded, torn, scratched, delaminating and is generally in poor condition.

Using high-resolution photo scanners and image processing software and a lot of tender loving care, we can now restore photos in a non-destructive fashion; and on the right-hand side you can see my mother restored to her 1958 beauty.

Our very special memories can now be preserved forever for the enjoyment of our future generations.
