Welcome to George Ross's DIGITALphotoconcept. Rhode Island and New England's home for excellence in sports and action photography; photo retouch, photo manipulation and photo restoration.

Sports and action photography

My sports photography technique has been given the label of "ponytails and anguish" which, while cute, does capture the emotion of shooting in close and capturing the effort that all athletes at every level put into their sport. The results are quite astounding and sometimes it is not pretty to the regular eye but to the athlete who is giving 120%, their effort is a thing of beauty. My goal is to shoot every athlete to the standard that could easily be on the cover of a sports magazine. The drama can be further enhanced with a little creative photo retouching. Your endeavor should be captured, framed and enjoyed forever. Click on the 'Sports Photography' tab on the menu above to view the galleries

Photo retouch: manipulation by imagineering

So, you have a photograph that means much to you and you would love to hang it on your wall and put it on display but you don't feel that it is quite good enough? DIGITALphotoconcept can take ordinary photographs and convert them into spectacular wall-art by digitally retouching and/or manipulating the images with a sprinkling of imagination (Imagineering). You will be absolutely amazed at what can be accomplished for $20 to $50 - I have provided many galleries with examples of my work. Combine any the ideas or provide me with your own ideas...it is all possible. Click on the 'Creative Galleries' tab on the menu above to view the galleries.
